First Lady Sajidha Mohamed officially inaugurated Vara Expo 2025 this evening at a special ceremony held at Hulhumalé Central Park. The three-day expo will run from 6 to 8 November.

Organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, the event features 166 exhibitors, including educational and training institutions, skills providers, and key stakeholders from the job market. The expo serves as a platform for employment and internship opportunities, alongside a series of workshops and panel discussions on labour market trends, education, and training.

During the ceremony, the First Lady also launched a special publication titled “Future-Ready Maldives: A New Era of Education and Skills,” which highlights the Ministry’s achievements and initiatives over the past two years.

Following the ceremony, the First Lady toured the expo, accompanied by several ministers and dignitaries who attended the inauguration.
