Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has launched “Tradian”, a platform that links business owners and service provision agencies. The platform was launched in a ceremony held in JEN Maldives on Tuesday and is the first phase of the National Single Window Project.
The platform will facilitate a one-stop solution for all permits that need to be taken by any business to trade in the Maldives. It effectively links all relevant line Ministries and agencies under one portal, enabling timely and easy access to services. The portal is part of the Government’s aim of creating a more investor friendly market in the Maldives. The portal will be fully implemented and in public use by the end of the year.
National Single Window Project is a partnership project of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Tradenet Maldives Corporation, and similar agencies.
