President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a two-day visit to the inhabited islands of Fuvahmulah and Addu.

During the visit, the President will meet with Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) to discuss local development priorities and explore avenues to further enhance community well-being. He will also engage with residents to listen to their views and concerns firsthand.

The President’s itinerary includes visits to Fuvahmulah City and Addu’s Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Hulhudhoo, and Meedhoo.

This visit forms part of the President’s ongoing nationwide initiative to visit all Maldivian atolls and meet with atoll, island, and city councils.

The President is accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior officials from key Government institutions.
