Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef met with members of the Gdh. Nadella Island Council at the President's Office this morning to discuss the island's essential development needs.

During the meeting, the council members discussed several key problems impacting the island. They highlighted difficulties caused by the lack of space in the island's harbour and the absence of a functional sewage system. They also emphasised the need to address and protect against erosion in the island's beach area, as well as to move forward with projects such as the youth centre and football field.

During the meeting, the Vice President stated that he would do everything possible to speed up the construction of the football field on the island. He assured the council members that their concerns would be promptly addressed through relevant Government channels.
