President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conferred the President’s Award for Special Achievement to 34 recipients in recognition of their exceptional academic accomplishments. The awards were presented at the official Republic Day ceremony held this morning at the Maldives Centre for Social Education.
The President’s Award for Special Achievement is a national honour recognising exceptional achievements in knowledge, skills, and creativity attained through dedication and perseverance. This year’s awards were conferred for accomplishments achieved in 2022 and onwards.
Among the recipients, eight individuals attained Level 10 qualifications under the Maldives National Qualifications Framework (MNQF), twenty-three achieved the highest distinctions in Levels 7, 8, and 9, and two were recognised for securing top honours in international competitions and exhibitions.
