President appoints two members to the Tax Appeal Tribunal

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed two members to the Tax Appeal Tribunal today. They were appointed under Section 56 (a) (1) of Act No. 3/2010 (Tax Administration Act)

The President appointed Ibrahim Afeef, B. Thulhaadhoo, as a member of the Tax Appeal Tribunal. Shaufa Ibrahim, Dh. Meedhoo, was appointed as the member representing the legal field in the Tribunal.

The President appointed the members to the Tribunal following Parliament’s review and approval.
